Since 2023, Asiacom Group has established its own AI team at Tokyo HQ and has been promoting operational efficiency through the practical use of AI. Our basic policy is simple: what AI can do, AI; what only people can do, people.

AI is not introduced to replace people. Its role is to reduce routine work such as inquiry classification, translation, document organization, information sharing, and checking tasks, so that our employees can focus on judgment, negotiation, risk management, and building trusted relationships with counterparties.

Trade operations are highly specialized. Transaction terms, documentation, logistics, settlement, bank explainability, and coordination across regional offices are all closely connected. For this reason, simply introducing generic AI tools is not enough. We believe it is essential to operate AI support systems that are designed to fit our own business workflows.
